Ballistics Testing

Dayton T. Brown Inc., a 24/7 Independent Engineering and Testing Lab, is expanding its ballistic testing facilities.

Our existing Ballistics Testing facility is perfect for all of your Gun Testing and Weapons Testing needs. The services we offer are Proof Testing, Qualification Testing and Developmental testing of your Firearms.

Proof Testing:

Dayton T. Brown’s indoor Ballistics test range facility is ideal for proof testing your firearms and critical firearm components.

Whether the weapon is hand held, shoulder fired or crew served, in calibers ranging from .22 to .50, our facility is ready. NDT inspection services and failure analysis are also available on site to complete the proof testing cycle.

Certificates of Conformance are also provided as requested or required.

QUALIFICATION TESTING:

DTB provides qualification testing for your firearm to the ANSI/SAAMI standards, military specifications and TOPS document 3-2-045.

You can choose to have a full battery of Ballistics tests or specific tests performed.

DEVELOPMENTAL TESTING:

At Dayton T. Brown, Inc. we offer developmental testing to help our customers modify and/or improve their existing models.

We maintain on site all the support services necessary to make your small arms and ammunition testing quick and efficient.

Some of our developmental services include failure analysis, alternate source qualifications, environmental testing, metallurgical and dimensional analysis.
