NEBS Testing Services
NEBS or "Network Equipment-Building System." refers to a family tests that apply

The two most common
tests are GR-63-CORE, Network Equipment-Building System Requirements: Physical Protection,
and GR-1089-CORE, Electromagnetic Compatibility and Electrical Safety -- Generic
Criteria for Network Telecommunications Equipment.
The Regional Bell Operating Companies
(RBOCs) and prospective suppliers routinely test their developmental equipment at
DTB to determine compatibility to these telecommunications network standards.
NEBS requires products to be evaluated in extreme environments and phenomena.
